I don't know what this band is called. Oops.

January 22nd

Reviver.

Reviver.

Reviver.

Principles of photography class. This class is split pretty much half and half between people who know what they're doing, and people that don't. The dude I sit next to falls firmly in the latter category.

January 21st

This photo wasn't taken today, but I was flipping through the pictures on my phone and felt it needed to be shared. Corbin and Jabba, being buddies.

January 20th

So as a stopgap solution for the next couple weeks until Kayla gets here and we get an apartment, I've been living in a studio in a hotel. It seems sort of sketchy, I know, but it actually is awesome. This is my version of stocking up.

January 19th

Pretty much the best food I've ever eaten. Normal Asian food, except all the dishes are vegan, even the ones with "meat." I'm addicted.

January 18th

This fucking thing. I have no idea what it is other than that it is some sort of weird fruit. It actually hurts to hold it, but I'm curious as to what it tastes like. Sidekick photo round 3.

January 17th

This is what's up. Halfway home made vegan pizza. Get crust and sauce from Little Caesar's, get the vegan versions of mozzarella and pepperoni from Whole Foods or whatever, then bake it like normal. That, combined with Watchmen rented from Redbox, makes for a pretty awesome night.

January 16th

Cruising.

January 15th

Goofy photoshop work I did in class. Sidekick photos will have to do until I acquire a decent point and shoot. Carrying around a backpack full of camera equipment all the time just isn't possible.

January 14th

Ian and Davis right before they played. This is me testing exposures.

Ian. Look at that Adam's apple! It's like a baby's fist.

Davis. This kid is like 5'6" and 100 pounds, and he still rages harder on stage than 90% of guitarists I've seen.

Bro down. Manhattan Project "promo." More of a snapshot, but I like how it came out.

The bill for tonight's show. Notice Kory's descriptions of every band that he added in, as well as the fact that the date is a year off. The number shown is Davis'. Feel free to send him n00dz.

Apple beer. "The soft drink with a head!" Also one of the most amazing beverages in life.

Cody and dinner.

January 12th

These two girls from California showed up in Salt Lake City a few days ago, and apparently they were immediately put to work cooking and cleaning for everyone. Today was no different. Corbin has been on a mission to weird them out as much as possible since they got here. This is actually him being tame.

January 11th.

L-R. Justin being a smartass. Andrew from Chelsea Grin, Tom from Reviver, and Alex from Chelsea Grin.

School started again today. This pretty much sums up the past year of my life in a nutshell. Tour passes, camera equipment, and my school ID. Things could be worse.

January 10th

Letting beauty school girls experiment on you sometimes results in some Mars Attacks status hair-dos.

Totally showing off that crucial ink.

Gettin her hurr did.

January 9th.

Kayla being Kayla.

This is me bugging her while she attempted to get ready. The second picture from the bottom that is taped to the wall is actually of her and I at some school dance a few years ago. We've grown up alot since then.

January 8th.

The gas station in Green River, UT. Any time I pass this place going either direction, I have to stop. It's a combination of tradition, superstition, and force of habit. There is another gas station directly across the street that has a Subway and cheaper gas, but I always feel awkward and uncomfortable if I don't make an appearance at the Gas-N-Go.

January 7th

I was hoping for a TRAX train to speed by in the background, but since I was losing feeling in my fingers and the band was getting antsy about posing in the middle of the street with people watching, we had to settle for this.

Out take from the Chelsea Grin shoot.

300 South and Main Street. One of my favorite locations.

This is in the parking garage of the WalMart I mentioned yesterday. My favorite out of the shoot.

I have no idea why this picture was needed. But when I'm getting my bills paid by these kids' management, I can take one for the team.

January 6th

Salt Lake City has a WalMart with a two story parking garage outside. This is the lower level.

I spend way too much money on doing exactly this. Pale Whale FTL.

January 5th.

Another chill day. I'm pretty much just getting antsy for school to start up again.

This is Julie. She's responsible for some of my tattoos and 90% of the tattoos on my friends.

I can pretty much live off of these. Notice that the heater is all the way up. Fuck winter.

January 4th

We needed a day off. Got some Chipotle and just chilled. Nothing too incredible today.

January 3rd.

This set of photos starts at around 2 AM. We went to Vegas on a spur of the moment decision, walked around all night, I won $50, then drove back. Got home, chilled out, then went to a show.
Busy dudes.

Mosh warriors.

The pile-on for Betrayal.

Betrayal.

As the sun was coming up. MGM Grand parking lot.

This pretty much sums it up.

Lobby of the MGM Grand.

Team Rage/Monster Squad.

January 2nd.

The Salt Lake City winter has been killing me, I'm sure that sounds weird coming from someone who grew up in Colorado, but it really has been the coldest/longest winter I've experienced in a long time. I took full advantage of the rare nice weather today to go downtown and experiment with different angles of the library architecture.
