September 17th

I shot these a little while ago, but I've been concentrating on learning editing techniques as much as actually shooting photos lately. I'm proud of how these turned out.

September 14th

This is my first attempt at real HDR photography. It's not great, but it's a start.

The End Of Summer.

Remember when I met my dream girl in Arizona? She came to visit me once I got home from tour. This was one of the best relationships I've ever had, too bad it got cut short. Life goes on.

Las Vegas, after we took Amanda back to Arizona. This place has lost it's novelty. How many other photos do I have from this place in this blog so far?

Corbin hatemoshing our fan to death. The last day of the SH was a pretty emotional thing.

Wreckage.

Group photo of (most) of us who spent our days here.

After the demise of the SH, I went to my parents' house in Colorado to hang out and work for a couple weeks. I spotted this on the way there, somewhere outside of Montrose.

I joined a band and we needed promos, so I shot them myself. I was trying way hard to pretend this wasn't awkward.

The Rest Of Tour.

Fireworks warehouse, just across the state line in Alabama. Hands down some of THE worst accents I have ever heard in my life. Imagine Squidbillies.

No idea where this flag came from, but Corbin flew it proudly. I think we were in the middle of a 12 hour drive to Ohio at this point.

One of the more awkward places to throw a show. This was a daycare facility, and as we were loading in, there were little kids laying on the floor watching Disney movies. The staff gave us popsicles while we waited for the kids to get picked up.

A bus stop in Cleveland, Ohio.
We met up with some band from Denver that happened to have a show in Hutchinson, KS the same night as us. Our tour rig is way cooler.

This fucking dude. He sounded like Boomhauer from King Of The Hill, and this was his reaction after he found a song he liked on the jukebox.

A bat flew into our windshield when were driving 75 mph on the interstate, and got stuck on our side mirror, somehow. When we slowed down, he fell off and I ran out to take pictures.

Finally home.

July 3rd

Hippie coffee shops are hilarious.

This little guy decided to hop out of nowhere and climb up the kick drum while we were all outside after the show.

July 2nd

Attempted to use Ian's shoulder as a tripod to shoot this photo of a tree in Boca Raton, FL. It kind of worked...but not quite. Slight blur :(

Davis being a sea monster in the Atlantic Ocean.

July 1st

Tampa, FL. Transitions Art Gallery has a weird red wall that shows up in the background of a million videos and photos of bands that play here. This was one of the best shows of the tour, by far.

June 30th

Orlando, FL. This is the bus station down the street from the venue. Pretty sure we were within shouting distance of Universal Studios at this point.

June 29th

This weird silo thing was right across the street from the venue in Douglas, GA. Definitely a very rural area, and I thought the GPS was lying to us when we pulled up to the venue.
Just outside of Tallahassee, FL, on our way to Georgia, we blew a trailer tire. The force of the explosion was hard enough to rip the fender off of the side of the trailer and send it flying into the weeds. We walked back up the highway for about half a mile before finally finding it bent up in the weeds.

June 28th

Bourbon Street, New Orleans. This place was pretty much just a giant shit show from beginning to end. I have never felt like I needed to take a shower just from walking down the street until I came here.

I guess when you build your city on a swamp, you need to have your house on stilts as well.

Let's review. A staircase leading to nowhere, trees with no branches, and a house on stilts. What an awkward scene.

June 27th

We stayed with some kid who had a recording studio in his spare room, so we decided to record an old Hermione song to kill some time. This is Ian getting way br00t4l while recording vocals. I honestly can't remember if he was making this face to be funny or if this happened naturally.

Shot while crossing a bridge over a swamp, headed to Pasadena, TX. I'm really not sure what those things are, maybe oil refineries? You can see the Houston skyline on the horizon. This picture creeps me out.

Is it really that complicated to spell "Manhattan" right? I guess it is if you're from Texas.

June 26th

This is the face Corbin gave some girl when he was asking for a cigarette. Naturally, he got what he wanted.

This dude was absolutely the biggest dork I have ever met in my life, but he was incredibly stoked on Manhattan Project and just metal in general. His reaction to Corbin telling him about pile-ons and hardcore shows: "That seems like you would risk a lot of medical bills."

The Alamo. Yep.

June 25th

Crosby, TX. Woke up in this random dude's studio, where he brought out this horrible creature to show us. *shudder*

June 23rd

Downtown Midlands, TX. Shot from the corner next to the venue.

June 22

Crossing the border from New Mexico into Texas.

This is Mexico, as seen from I-10 leading into El Paso.

This is pretty much the first thing we experienced when we finally got out of the van.

June 21

Tucson, Arizona.
